First, you’ll want to choose one of our friendly agents who will help you search and view rental homes. At HREG, we have an agent available on duty every day, even weekends, to assist you, and did you know that your Hill Group agent can show you ANY property in the MLS? That’s right! Our agents can show not only our listings, but other companies’ listings as well.
Once you have found the right home, you will need to fill out a Rental Application. This can be done conveniently on our website or in our office. This application will run credit and criminal background checks and will search for eviction records. There is a one-time application fee of $30 per adult that will be listed on the Lease Agreement. Your agent will go over the results of this report with the Listing Agent and the Property Owner.
With owner approval, your HREG agent will go over the terms of the Lease Agreement with you. A security deposit (usually equal to the monthly rent) and first month’s rent will be collected. When all appropriate paperwork is signed, you will receive the keys to your new rental property!
